Wallach’s Farm Market- What a deceptive name for a company that, today, is so diversified.
Originally we were strictly a wholesale egg distributor and processor with contract farms in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We built a reputaion by always emphasizing freshness and quality.
Since 1926, when Louis Wallach founded the business and worked side by side with his wife Hannah, our primary concerns have been the customers’ needs and service. In 1934 Wallach’s Poultry Farms moved to its current location at 1425 Lakewood Rd./ Route 9 in Toms River. By the late 1940′s and early 1950′s Ocean and Monmouth Counties represented one of the largest egg producing centers in the United States.

Robert Hurdus joined Wallach’s Poultry Farms in 1954 and served as Vice President until his retirement in 1990. Stanley Wallach, after fulfilling his military obligation in 1972, became associated with the company and is currently President. In 1980 Louis Wallach was awarded the “Golden Egg Award” by the New Jersey State Poultry Association for distinguished service to the poultry industry.
With our expansion in August 1992, Wallach’s Farm Market “We Aint Just Eggs” became a reality. Our trucks go to the Produce Markets daily and we offer a wide variety of local New Jersey grown products available from mid Spring to late Fall.
In addition to eggs and an extensive line of produce, we carry fresh brick oven bread, coffee, milk, butter, assorted cheeses and select Italian pastries baked and filled on the premises. With the opening of our deli we introduced a taste of Italy to our customers. Our staff offers an array of mouth watering entrees a long with the finest deli dishes and tasty, decorative platters. The catering menu displayed on the following pages will be sure to satisfy every taste.
As a second generation, Wallach’s Farms continues to sell wholesale and retail at very competitive prices. We offer businesses either the convenience of delivery or pick up. Our selection of wholesale products continues to expand and we offer discounts on all bulk purchases.

Today, Wallach’s Farm Market has expanded upon its wholesale and retail roots. In addition to our extensive line of produce, we have fresh brick oven bread, pasta, deli meats, coffee, milk, assorted cheeses, and select Italian pastries baked and filled on the premises. Our prepared foods department offers a variety of home-cooked foods, prepared daily, at a reasonable price. We also provide an extensive catering menu that is sure to please every taste.
